A very special combination of hops, so I was very intrigued. As its name suggests, this Double IPA is all about excitement and seduction, just like that one moment at the bar. Full of character, a touch of mischief and impossible to ignore!
ANNABEL
Flirt with the Bartender is a modern Double IPA, brewed with a surprising combination of aromatic hops. The beer combines a full body with a smooth character. The malt base provides a soft, slightly sweet undertone that nicely supports the intensity of the hops. This Double IPA balances strength and elegance: assertive, but not overwhelming.
The aroma of the beer is juicy and fruity, with clear influences of grapefruit, peach and sweet citrus. The Dolcita hops add a soft, round fruitiness to the flavour. Amarillo provides a round orange-like freshness and, together with Citra, forms a characteristic fresh grapefruit punch finish.
As you take a sip, a firm but well-integrated bitterness builds up, nicely balancing the sweetness. The finish is dry to slightly sticky, long and inviting, with a lingering hop bitterness that leaves you wanting more, just like a successful flirtation at the bar!

For Flirt with the Bartender, we really wanted to brew a Double IPA. But the choice of hops was key: the three aromatic hops we selected for this Double IPA blend perfectly and really give the beer a special touch!
